Talk about a slow Monday. Not to sound like a cliche “case of the Mondays” character from Office Space, it just took me forever to get out of bed this morning. I figured we could all use a little pick me up, fast paced, dance inducing tune to get wake us all up. Besides, what better song to dance to than one named after Fred Astaire? For all you millennials out there that have no idea who that is, just Google it, that’s what the internet is for.

I’ve actually been holding back on the number of Australian artists I want to post about because there are just too many good ones and I don’t want to sound like a bogan (you can look that one up on urban dictionary, folks). All joking aside, San Cisco is a great band out of Western Australia and has gained a great deal of fame as of late specifically in that region of the world. I’m especially a fan of the female drummer because that’s usually the last place (maybe a bit sexist, I know, I’m sorry) that I would expect the one girl in the band to be, yet she kicks ass at it. The lyrics to this song are super fun and the music video is another really entertaining one that makes the concept of the song so much more meaningful.

So get up out of your bed, your cubicle, your desk, or whatever…and dance like you’re Fred freakin’ Astaire! Happy Monday!
